The University of Alabama is again ranked among the top 50 public universities in the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report’s annual rankings for 2009. UA is ranked 37th among public national universities and 83rd among all universities, both public and private. The rankings reflect our continued efforts to grow with quality. We are pleased to welcome another record freshman class this year, our strong faculty continue to change lives with their dedication to teaching, research and service, and our students and alumni continue to have a positive impact on the communities we serve.
